THIS IS FOR FRUSTRATED DREAMERS | A Note by Tyler Perry - 21.05.13

I was driving in to work this morning and I started thinking about all the days I dreaded going to work. I was so sick of it… the job, my boss, the people I worked with, the traffic… I would wake up angry every morning. I didn’t want to deal with the crap of the job, but I was forced to go. I had been homeless, I was broke, living paycheck to hopefully the next paycheck. I couldn’t take a day off for fear I would get fired. I was just frustrated. I thought I hated my life and the job.

It was so aggravating because God had placed all these dreams and hopes in my soul and mind and I had no idea how they were going to come to pass. To have a dream of being something better and living better than the way I was at that moment and to not see a way of getting there felt like death to me. I thought, “Dear God, why would you give me so much hope and not make a way?” But what I learned through prayer was, with no path in front of you and no road map… this is where true faith begins. With faith I realized that I wasn’t frustrated with my life or the job, I was frustrated because I was a person who had dreams for myself, a person who had visions for my life and I wasn’t living it. Have you ever been there, where you felt so strongly that there was more to this life than what you see in front of you?

One of the most difficult things about being a dreamer is the fear that the dream will never happen. I’m here as a living witness to tell you your dreams can come true. You can’t give up. And I am here to let you know that everything can work together for your good. The time that you are spending on that job that you think is a dead end is not. You’re being prepared just like I was. I was a shoeshine boy, I worked as a bill collector, a used car salesman, in housekeeping in a hotel, and they all were preparation for where I am now.

What do these things have to do with where I am now? I’m glad you asked. I am able to use skills that I learned. I shined shoes, so I know how to shine my shoes if I need them to look nice. Selling used cars was a great way to learn how to close a deal. Bill collecting taught me great negotiation skills. Working at that 5-star hotel taught me a lot about travel. Every experience in your life is here to teach you something.

Today, while you’re at work, don’t be frustrated. Look around you and ask God what are you there to learn and how will it be a part of your future dream. Honor that job, do the best you can at it, because God will bless you for honoring something that belongs to another.

The Real Change Agent

I got this from a friend on BB who said it was culled from the Internet. Hope you find it a good read.

One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big notice on the door on which it was written:

"Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the hall".

In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.

The excitement in the hall was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room.

The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought:
"Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!".

One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul.

There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself.

There was also a sign next to the mirror that said:

"There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: it is YOU.

You are the only person who can revolutionise your life.
You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realisation and your success.
You are the only person who can help yourself.

Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change,when your siblings change, when your partner changes, when your company changes.
Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are responsible for your life.

One of the most important relationships you can have is the one you have with yourself.

Examine yourself; If need be, Change...

Divine Supply | The Lot Of A Favored Life

JUNE 2013 

I have provided all kinds of grain and all kinds of fruit for you to eat; ...and it was done. God looked at everything he had made, and he was very pleased. 

Evening passed and morning came - that was the sixth day.

God made man on the sixth day when all things had been made ready...as you step into this sixth month, may you experience DIVINE SUPPLY like never before.

It is one thing to be given, yet another to receive. May your eyes, ears and heart be ever so discerning to recognize the sources and resources coming your way this sixth month.

Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

 May you have pleasant and notable memories of June 2013, years from now.

And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

May the results of the works of your hands be twice the outcome you’ve known before.

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin...and the virgin's name was Mary... An Age Old Note To Those Against Nigeria's Progress | Job 20:4-29 (MSG)

 “Don’t you even know the basics,

    how things have been since the earliest days,

    when Adam and Eve were first placed on earth?

The good times of the wicked are short-lived;

    godless joy is only momentary.

The evil might become world famous,

    strutting at the head of the celebrity parade,

But still end up in a pile of dung.

    Acquaintances look at them with disgust and say, ‘What’s that?’

They fly off like a dream that can’t be remembered,

    like a shadowy illusion that vanishes in the light.

Though once notorious public figures, now they’re nobodies,

    unnoticed, whether they come or go.

Their children will go begging on skid row,

    and they’ll have to give back their ill-gotten gain.

Right in the prime of life,

    and youthful and vigorous, they’ll die.

 “They savor evil as a delicacy,

    roll it around on their tongues,

Prolong the flavor, a dalliance in decadence—

    real gourmets of evil!

But then they get stomach cramps,

    a bad case of food poisoning.

They gag on all that rich food;

    God makes them vomit it up.

They gorge on evil, make a diet of that poison—

    a deadly diet—and it kills them.

No quiet picnics for them beside gentle streams

    with fresh-baked bread and cheese, and tall, cool drinks.

They spit out their food half-chewed,

    unable to relax and enjoy anything they’ve worked for.

And why? Because they exploited the poor,

    took what never belonged to them.

 “Such God-denying people are never content with what they have

        or who they are;

    their greed drives them relentlessly.

They plunder everything

    but they can’t hold on to any of it.

Just when they think they have it all, disaster strikes;

    they’re served up a plate full of misery.

When they’ve filled their bellies with that,

    God gives them a taste of his anger,

    and they get to chew on that for a while.

As they run for their lives from one disaster,

    they run smack into another.

They’re knocked around from pillar to post,

    beaten to within an inch of their lives.

They’re trapped in a house of horrors,

    and see their loot disappear down a black hole.

Their lives are a total loss—

    not a penny to their name, not so much as a bean.

God will strip them of their sin-soaked clothes

    and hang their dirty laundry out for all to see.

Life is a complete wipeout for them,

    nothing surviving God’s wrath.

There! That’s God’s blueprint for the wicked—

    what they have to look forward to.”

Power Project

Great One,

I felt to share with you, a BBM broadcast I got this morning from a Music Minister of no mean repute - Nathaniel Bassey.

As I always like to say, please feel free to ignore this if it makes no sense to you or you are of the opinion that you do not really need to do this per say. But for the rest of us that are on board with it, please read the broadcast below.

“The 1-month Power-Project

I went for a prayer walk a few days ago, and somewhere in the process, I thought of what would happen in our lives if we prayed in the spirit (or in tongues) for One hour consistently for one whole month, and also read, memorised and meditated on the Word of God for 1 hour as well for one month.

May be you do much more than 1 hour, but I'm just saying we do 1 consistent hour for 1 month and see what difference it makes in our lives.

Oh! You can in addition have a time of praise-worship; ministering unto the Lord apart from the hours of prayer and the word. But this is just some kind of a spiritual exercise or experiment to see what a month of consistent praying in the spirit and time in the word would do.

I perceive our lives would never remain the same again. I see a new dimension of insight and revelation of God after this one month. I see a life of power emerging.

Please reply if you would sign up for this. And remember, there is no room for looking back. If you decide to get in on the 1 month power project, then you have to follow through.

You may chose any time of the day for prayers and the word, but just make sure you don't miss a day. The whole idea is to see the benefit of an uninterrupted prayer and word life for just 1 month.

You may also split your hour. E.g. 30 minutes in the morning, and another at a convenient time of the day for both the prayer and the word. But at the end of the day, you should accumulate your 1 hour each for the prayer and the word.

After the one month, we then come back to share the changes and experiences in our lives, and to decide if it's a project worth sustaining for a life time.

When I saw the date, I purposed to start today and make it up to my own one month.

Whenever you get to read this, you might decide to start your own “One Month Power Project”

Now, people have already started sending in strange testimonies to the BB group. We can write our own testimonies as comments here. Do please inform your friends (and enemies if you have them...lol) about this remarkable exercise.

Like in the animated film, “Houghton hears a who” (yes, I do like animations a lot), who knows maybe this is one of those events that will send a sound loud enough to pierce through to the heavens in an unprecedented way to deliver to earth, unprecedented miracles.

Hear ye the words of this Conqueror

A PRAYER FOR A VIRTUOUS WOMAN | DAUGHTERS, SISTERS, WIVES, MOTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS...

Dear God,

To have the likes of the Virtuous Woman reading this message walking on earth, 
is just another proof that You love the world.

Thank you for blessing this generation with such a kind and diligent soul.

From birth, childhood, adolescence through to adulthood we pray for them;

Please help the young girls to have a full understanding of their worth.

Please shield them from men in their lives who are out to distort the

true image and role of fathers, uncles, brothers and male friends.

Please help those who have been emotionally scarred to heal and break free as they forgive the offenders and themselves.

Please help the young women to live life to the full and bless them in their chosen field.

Please help them shine in the darkest places and let love flow in their path.

Please protect and lift them up at all times.

Please enlighten the few that are yet to know that their body is just that - theirs; 

because a product that is not for sale, isn't advertised.

Please help and grant them the grace to fulfill purpose in life.

Please ‘delete’ "friends" in their lives that are nothing

but a waste of time, space and energy.

Please bless their relationships with love, trust and mutual understanding.

Please grant the grown women the wisdom to continually

build up their homes and not tear it down.

Please help them to always remember that the house rests on its foundation;

but the home rests on the woman.

Please help them to always draw from You, the strength and resilience needed to do the work with the toughest job description: being a Mother.

Please hear the heart cry of those waiting on you to be mothers.

Please continue to defend the widows and the aged.

Please help the elderly women to sow seeds of grace in the hearts of

the young women in their lives.

and most of all Lord...

Please help the Virtuous Woman reading this note to 

End Well and Finish Strong in Jesus Name!

5TH GEAR | MAY 2013

The car engine whines and pitches in sound just before the change of gear.

The lower gears may give the car a lot of acceleration but not much speed.

The high gears may not have acceleration but can deliver more speed.

It is written;
