SUSTENANCE | JULY 2020

8 Then the Lord said to Elijah,

9 “Go and live in the village of Zarephath, near the city of Sidon. I have instructed a widow there to feed you.”

10 So he went to Zarephath. As he arrived at the gates of the village, he saw a widow gathering sticks, and he asked her, “Would you please bring me a little water in a cup?”

11 As she was going to get it, he called to her, “Bring me a bite of bread, too.”

12 But she said, “I swear by the Lord your God that I don’t have a single piece of bread in the house. And I have only a handful of flour left in the jar and a little cooking oil in the bottom of the jug. I was just gathering a few sticks to cook this last meal, and then my son and I will die.”

13 But Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid! Go ahead and do just what you’ve said, but make a little bread for me first. Then use what’s left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son.

14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again!”

15 So she did as Elijah said, and she and Elijah and her family continued to eat for many days.

16 There was always enough flour and olive oil left in the containers, just as the Lord had promised through Elijah.

1 Kings 17:8-16 NLT

First it was ravens, then a widow. Neither seemed like an obvious channel of provision but God decided to use these channels to sustain His servant.

In this second and more significant part of 2020:

May our ears be instructed such that we never lack a Word in due season.

(Isaiah 30:21, Psalm 32:8)

May we walk in obedience to divine instructions however seemingly odd.

(Genesis 22:1-18, Joshua 6:2-21)

May we always remember to seek and put God first.

(Matthew 6:33, Luke 6:38)

When the able is not available, God can make the available able...

May our eyes of understanding be enlightened to recognize destiny helpers no matter how unassuming they may appear.

(Ephesians 1:17-23, Psalm 119:18)

The widow happened to be at the gate when Elijah arrived the village…

May time and chance work in our favor causing the boundary lines to fall into pleasant places for us.

(Ecclesiastes 9:11, Psalm 16:5-6)

The tides turned for both Elijah and the widow upon their meeting...

In this season, may we be the reason someone will have a positive change of story.

(Genesis 39:5-6, 1 Samuel 18:5)

The widow had given up and “predicted” the death of her son and herself...

May we be delivered from negative consequences of our words and the lash of the tongue.

(Proverbs 18:21, 1 Kings 17:17-24, Job 5:17-27)

God Bless You!

WHO SAID? | PRAYERS AND PROMISES FOR SUPERNATURAL CHILDBIRTH | JACKIE L. MIZE

When Jackie and I met and began talking marriage, she said to me, “If we are going to get married, there is something about me you should know.”

“I CAN’T HAVE CHILDREN!” she said.

What a devastating statement! Women around the world have made the same declaration. My question to them now is the same question I posed to Jackie over two decades ago. “Oh, really? Who said? Who said you can’t have children?” It makes a major difference in every area of your life, who said. I am always asking people that question, “Who said?”

Jackie answered me, “The doctors said.”

“Oh, I see. Well, God said you can have babies,” I told her. “Even though I thank God for doctors and hospitals, and medical science is always advancing, they are not our source, our final authority; God is, and God said you can have children.”

“He did?”

“Sure. The Bible is full of Scriptures about children. He said He makes the barren woman to keep house and be a joyful mother of children. He said your children will be as olive plants and your wife as a fruitful vine. The Bible says there will be neither male nor female barren among God’s people. We will have all the children we want.”

And we did. We have four children—two boys and two girls. And we’ve taken them around the world with us giving Living Bread to dying men, sharing the gospel with the world that cost the blood of Jesus.

Jackie’s testimony of supernatural child birth has gone literally around the world. In many nations where I go, people come up to me and say, “I’ve heard your wife’s tape on supernatural childbirth.” We have files of testimonies from women at home and abroad who have beautiful children because they applied these faith principles from God’s Word. We strongly believe that any man, woman, boy, or girl can take God’s Word and change his/her circumstances through faith and prayer.

Something that Jackie and I want people to understand is that to us, supernatural childbirth is being able to believe God to get pregnant, carry that baby to full term, and have a healthy mommy deliver a healthy baby. Many people think that supernatural childbirth only means having painless childbirth because that is what Jackie did with three of our four children; but we’ve never been dogmatic about that. Our point is having the baby and being healthy. The painless part and all the other extras we’ve had and believed for are available for you as you use your faith and “shoot for the stars; go for the best; aim high!” Those are faith principles. With God and faith, you can always go all out and aim high. The bottom line is this: the Bible says, “According to your faith.” There isn’t a right way and a wrong way in this book. There isn’t “Jackie’s way.” It’s according to your faith. We got what we used our faith for. We believe you will too!

JUNIPER REST & MEAL | JUNE 2020

4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
6 And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
7 And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
1 Kings 19:4-8 KJV

28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Matthew 11:28-30 MSG

It is interesting to note that Jesus would take time to fix breakfast for his disciples.
Our Father truly cares.

12 “Now come and have some breakfast!” Jesus said. None of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord.
13 Then Jesus served them the bread and the fish.
John 21:12 NLT

31 And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat
Mark 6:31 NKJV

To weary hearts and tired souls,
There is rest available in Him.

May we receive in this month, the much needed rest and nourishment required to journey through the rest of this year.

God Bless You!

CORONATION | MAY 2020

26 David asked the soldiers standing nearby, “What will a man get for killing this Philistine and ending his defiance of Israel? Who is this pagan Philistine anyway, that he is allowed to defy the armies of the living God?”
46 Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!
1st Samuel 17:26, 46 NLT

29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up;
and he shall save the humble person.
Job 22:29 KJV

Like David, we declare by faith and give no room for fear.
What the enemy meant for evil, God has turned around for our good.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
1st Peter 2:9 AMP

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Romans 8:28 NLT

This plague shall surely pass and work together for our good.

To every health worker and those at the front lines, We celebrate you!
Thank you for being the "armed forces" and "heroes" of the nations at this time.
We pray for you:

‘May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’
Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NLT

We also pray comfort to every family that has lost a loved one.

The Lord cares deeply when his loved ones die.
Psalms 116:15 NLT

May the ministry of the Great Comforter be tangibly felt in such homes in Jesus mighty name.

God Bless You!

SUMMARY ATTEMPT | 5 THINGS SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO BEFORE 8AM | TERRI SAVELLE FOY | INTRODUCTION

“If we did all the things we are capable of doing,
we would literally astound ourselves.”
Thomas Edison

if you’ll change your routine, you can change your whole life. The secret of your success is hidden in your daily routine. If I could come to your house and spend just one day with you, I would be able to tell whether or not you will be successful. You could pick the day. If I got up with you in the morning and went through the day with you, watching you for 24 hours, I could tell in what direction your life is headed.
You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. You see, success, doesn’t suddenly occur one day in someone’s life. For that matter, neither does failure. Each is a process. Every day of your life is merely preparation for the next. What you become is the result of what you do today.
“I’ve never met a person that was not successful who didn’t have a great amount of self-discipline.”
John Maxwell

You change yourself by changing something you do each day.

If you feel somewhat disgusted with an aspect of your life, you’re in the best place for change. Frustration is a sign of vision. Disgust can lead to a life change. Although we normally don’t equate the word disgust with positive action, being repelled by your current circumstances can serve as vision and momentum to get out of them!

“Do what you should do, when you should do it,
whether you feel like it or not.”
- Thomas Huxley

Self-discipline is the key to personal fulfillment. It is the key that opens doors for you that you never dreamed possible. With self-discipline, the ordinary person can become extraordinary, and the average person can rise further than talents and intelligence can take him. At the same time, without self-discipline, a talented, educated, attractive person will seldom rise above mediocrity.

“Whatever you did to get to where you’re at, don’t stop doing it.”

·        - Seize the value of each day by taking control of your mornings.
·        - Establish a set of realistic habits that will revolutionize your life.
·        - Understand self-discipline and its importance in your life.
·        - Become aware of (and stop) your bad habits and their consequences.
·        - Discover your purpose and your life assignment so that you stay driven.

Successful people are intentional

The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.
26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.
27 Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.
Joel 2:25-27 NKJV

17 For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after and for whom no one cares!
Jeremiah 30:17 AMPC

1 It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion!
2 We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The Lord has done great miracles for them!”
3 Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed!
4 Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory! May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again.
Psalm 126:1-4 TPT

God Bless You!

#JustAThought | #iMuse | Live Full

Live Full, Die Empty

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10 NIV

6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 NIV
