Yadah | Notes from Nathaniel Bassey (11th October 2013)

A few days ago I had an interesting revelation on the lifting of hands in worship.

When we raise our hands in worship, we bless God and surrender to him amongst other things.

And guess what? In an atmosphere of worship there is an unseen force field around. One charged with the glory and favour of God. Just the same way you may not see a WiFi but can connect to the internet through it.

I believe we release this glory cloud, now residing within us, into the atmosphere as we worship (2nd Chronicles 5:12-14). Remember, we are the temple of the Holy Ghost; God almighty.

Also, our hands represent the source and means by which we earn a living. Somehow, somehow.. you get to use them, either by signing papers, playing an instrument, carrying blocks or even plaiting the hair. Our hands, also, and unfortunately, get involved in some bad stuffs (sad face).

This is what I got, as we worship in spirit and in truth, lifting holy hands to Jehovah, Jesus our saviour, he blesses and sanctifies them. His glory and favour rests on them, empowering them to succeed and to do right. Such that anything you touch, prospers.

So beloved, as you worship from your heart, in spirit and in truth, lifting hands to him with understanding, believe that you leave empowered for exploits and glory.

So are you struggling in your business or job? lift your hands.
Are you sick in your body? lift your hands.
Are you depressed or burdened in your mind? lift your hands.

God bless you.

Ps 63:4
"Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name"

Ps90:17
"And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us:establish thou the work of our hands...."

Ps 18:34

"He teacheth my hands to war..."
