An Aspiring Gnomist Prays At A New Year Family Meeting

As a prelusive gesture on this propitious occasion which is an incunabula and inchoation of my traverse with you in this year, I would like to say I am blithesome, rident and filled with mirth at the mere thought of being part of not just a klatsch or coterie but a truly pulchritudinous mishpocha. To be able to meet with you today, was once a desiderium but now, it's more like a sweven that is sooth.

Since I didn't have time to prepare a speech, this address would most likely come across as a prayer from the stables of an aspiring gnomist for each one of us in this family.

For every dyad, I pray that anon, each of our homes will be filled with more vinous and romantic fondness in ever increasing votive and troth.

May our bond not conk out or evanesce but rather, it will effloresce and flourish viridescently.

May every delitescent grace and gifting come alive as we become the echt portrayal of the Creator's masterpiece.

May our peace all through this year be smoother than a saunter through a xyst.

Concerning your goals, may you be endowed with axiomatic chutzpa difficult for every pusillanimous and horripilating crapehanger to gloze over or grok.

This year, I previse you walking into the realm of thalassic abundance and opulence, annulling every flak and wanion be it from progenitors or otherwise.

May this be the year you demesne and come into dignity. On meeting you, kings and nobles will agnize and tutoyer.

May our transit be peregrine; pre or post our end of year meeting as we thank God that not a skosh of His promises went unfulfilled.

As for all the naysayers in your life, they are fast becoming fusty.

By virtue of being bel-esprit and a specter to your adversaries, may they become exiguous as their gatherings become pell-mell, higgledy piggledy, arsy-varsy and star-crossed. May their meeting places be rubricated for destruction as they slubber into discombobulation, garboil and subjugation.

While your enemies cede and receive their comeuppance, may they become gapeseed as you sit to tiffin, slake and degust a toothsome outlay of kickshaw et al. They’ll still be peckish, panivorous and resorting to rejectamenta due to maw while you'll have an excess of both chow and pabulum.

My God will deliver you from flibbertigibbets, fussbudgets, coxcombs, whippersnappers and mythomanes.

May this year end well for us all in Jesus name.

To Perform, BEcome | January 2015

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “BE fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
-           Genesis 1:28 (NKJV, emphasis mine)

The first instruction God gave the man He created wasn’t to “DO” or “HAVE” but to “BE”.
Before the mandate to fill (do), subdue (do) or have dominion, was the mandate to be.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to BEcome the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
-           John 1:12-13 (KJV, emphasis mine)

Those who become, are empowered to perform.
Perhaps this is another reason we’re called “Human BEings” – we are perpetually becoming; our fruits lend credence to our state per time.

4 Take care to live in me, and let me live in you. For a branch can’t produce fruit when severed from the vine. Nor can you be fruitful apart from me. 5 “Yes, I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit. For apart from me you can’t do a thing.
-           John 15:4 -5 (TLB)

Those who remain connected, remain fruitful and productive;
Those who are productive, dominate. (Matthew 25:23)

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
-          Revelation 5:10 (KJV)

God-made leaders are BEing enthroned in this season.

May this first month and new year, mark the BEginning of a new level of DOMINION indeed!

Welcome to BEing DISTINGUISHED!

God Bless You!

WETIN YOU CARRY??? (What do you carry) | Nathaniel Bassey

Shalom saints, this is a hard Post, but I have to share it all the same. To those who take this in humility, and act accordingly, it would sure change your life. But to those who don't, good luck.
JOHN 7:3-6 (NLT)
3 And Jesus’ brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, where your followers can see your miracles! 4 You can’t become famous if you hide like this! If you can do such wonderful things, show yourself to the world!” 5 For even his brothers didn’t believe in him. 6 Jesus replied, “Now is not the right time for me to go, but you can go anytime

I'm quite concerned for our younger brethren, in a hurry to shine. I see too many young folks who are in a hurry to shine, have their faces on flyers and billboards, and platforms who have no business holding a mic yet. Most don't even know who they are to begin with. No revelation of God yet. But they want to have albums and sing everywhere. They have not served, but want to be served. They are quick to say God told me, when it is clear God didn't. If you are one of those, can you just SIT DOWN! And know God first!!!! That thing driving you may just be your flesh. A desire to be a star, and that's all. There is time for everything. Your job now is Psalm 27:4. Do that first until the anointing comes on you. Behold the glory first before trying to reflect it. You sing from an overflow of revelation of God. Most don't even have yet. JESUS, the son of God, and God by all standards, spent years learning and asking questions from doctors of the Law. And even when he was asked to "Show himself", said "my time has not come", when you come out before your time, you fizzle out fast!!! And without any impact. The crave to be celebrated is getting out of hand in our time. Truth is, People don't want to celebrate mediocrity. Get some substance first. Haba!
Most genuine music ministers we celebrate today had to go through a path. One of consecration, mentoring and discipleship. Look at Sinach, though not someone I know one on one, apart from meeting her at the Experience. Even after having her songs everywhere, still didn't go everywhere. Only until recently do we see her coming out frequently. She still serves in her church, and submits to her pastor.
By God's grace, I had to be mentored for about 10 years by my late pastor, ESKOR MFON. People would come asking him to have me minister outside, but he would tell them I wasn't mature yet. I could play the trumpet so well, sing and etc. but he insisted I had a lot more to learn.
But now, someone just sings a note, plays a few scales and they want to be independent. They print business cards, have a website, get a PR consultant and want to travel the world. HOW NOW?????
Sit under the Word first. Be mentored. Serve. Submit to a local church and pastor. Practice and work on your craft and character. And when the time comes, it will be very clear.
You won't have to beg to minister, the world would practically chase after you, because you carry something. I ask you, WETIN YOU CARRY?
You want to have REAL IMPACT, with posterity? This is THE WAY. At least in this kingdom. Don't be deceived. There is a path in this kingdom. If you sense a calling to the music ministry, the next thing to do is not to SHEW YOURSELF. RATHER, HIDE YOURSELF....seeking God, until you find him. It is what you have found that you then sing to the world.

This is a hard saying, who shall hear it. I say this out of love. It's hard, but it's the truth. God bless you.

A Conversation Worth Sharing...

Bayor:
Last time I came for the Experience, a great trumpeter; Phil Driscoll was among the ministers and President Goodluck had the elections in view.
This year, he also has his re-election in view and there's a great trumpeter on stage also...seems to me, Heaven heralds the right king before the elections...

Nathaniel Bassey:
Hmmmmm..... deep. that's my boy. You are a wise man. Very wise. So proud of you BAYO. You make me proud always.

TANDEM VICTORIA | DECEMBER 2014

8 Finishing is better than starting! Patience is better than pride!
-          Ecclesiastes 7:8 (TLB)

Not everyone that started this year is alive this day…
If a living dog is better than a dead lion (Ecclesiastes 9:4), how much more a living lion that’s destined by design to be victorious (Proverbs 30:30)…?

19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
-          Genesis 49:19 (KJV)

Regardless of what this year may have been like,
have a guarantee in God that we are NOT leaving 2014 defeated!

7 Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.
-          Job 8:7 (NKJV)

Just like the children of Israel left Egypt with much spoil (Exodus 12:36),
we will NOT enter 2015 empty handed.

Like a runner winning the race, the clock has all hands up at 12 o’clock.
In this 12th month, may you with hands raised,
proclaim "VICTORY AT LAST!" as we approach 2015!

God Bless You!

MY GENERATION | Nathaniel Bassey

My generation is in a hurry.
We want everything now now now!
We want it to happen fast and right away or we'll make it happen.
We want the glory, without the story.
We want to be stars, without the scars of discipline.
We want the prize, without paying the price.
We want the limelight without the wilderness experience.
We want thrills and frills, with no substance.
We want to be eulogized without being circumcised.
We want an anointing, without the consecration.
We are controlled by what we see and feel than the voice of the Spirit and the Word.
We want hit songs, without the heat of the Holy Spirit's fire.
We want big platforms to perform, without first being transformed.
We want huge success without going through the process.
We want prosperity, with no posterity.
We want to shine without being refined.

I have news for you. In this Kingdom, the Kingdom of our great God, there is something called ‘the path of life’. A way of glory. It's the journey of dying to self and the flesh. Things don't just happen.

Every man and woman out there, doing great and genuine works in the kingdom are those in the school of the Spirit. In this school, you wait! You are tried, tested, empowered and released unto good works.
Is it Jesus? David? Paul? Or who? Jesus spent 30 years preparing for a ministry of 3.5years. In this kingdom, people don't just emerge. They are first submerged in Christ, where they are transformed.
You want to reflect His glory? You have to behold it first. Common now!
You don't just sow a seed into some person and expect to walk in their level of unction.
Well, in the other kingdom, that of this world, you can package it, work it and engineer it, and it would appear to work. But not here.
God has a room. It is a waiting room.

Psalm 105:19
"Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tested him."

Hebrews 10:36.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise

You want good success? It has to be based on Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1.

Please send and share with a young person out there. Especially those in a hurry to make it.

We shall be a wise generation.

God bless you all.

- Nathaniel Bassey

REFRESH 1:1 | NOVEMBER 2014

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
-         Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)

THE Author is also THE Finisher; He only starts what He has finished.
He knows the end from the beginning…and can begin at the end.
A prophecy therefore, is not what He intends to do in time but that which He has done in eternity which we are yet to see in time.

45 Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
-         Joshua 21:45 (NKJV)

God says what He means and means what He says…
IF HE said it...it's done...He's TOO faithful to fail.

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
-         Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)

3 Now it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that the Lord had given him as commandments to them.
-         Deuteronomy 1:3 (NKJV)

It’s time to run even more vigorously with every sure word of prophecy as we insist on their fulfillment.

18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare
-         1st Timothy 1:18 (NKJV)

The number ‘11’ is also the number ‘1’ on another dimension;
it is ‘1’ with the ‘experience’ of ‘10’.
With the knowledge of how it didn’t work, we can now do it better.
As we play our part, I see God giving us a FRESH START this eleventh month.

God IS Good!
