Time spent on the job is not the same as growth gained from the job.
Years of employment can build familiarity, but expertise develops through continuous learning, intentional practice, feedback, and the willingness to improve.
The real measure of experience is not simply how long you have occupied a position, but how much wiser, more capable, and more effective you have become.
15 years of employment does not automatically equal 15 years of expertise.
