In thinking about the notion of motion, it occurred to me that every human being is a walking musical instrument of some sort.

We generate sounds that mostly go unheard or unnoticed.

Be it the heart beat, the blood racing and pouring through a complex network of veins, the constant vibration of the skin or the air flow in and out of the nostrils; there's always motion happening even if we don't see or feel it.

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.

Psalm 139:13-14 NLT

Though the earth is in constant motion, we are like passengers on a plane shielded from the sheer pressure of its speed; we barely notice.

That said, it's risky to be on one spot in a moving world; that's actually retrogression for the one not dead.

Living things move.

A life of purpose is like harmonious music to the Maker's ears.

Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

Psalm 150:6 NLT
