When you do something new, you use almost your whole brain - particularly the right hemisphere. As you practice the same activity, the size required reduces and moves  backwards/left to make it automatic.

Routinizing things decreases the cognitive and psychological load. Making good habits a part of your routine helps build your character.

Deliberately investigate your default programs (and reinstall if need be). Put responsibility on yourself and you will start seeing rewards.

Value knowledge over achievement. (Competence not competition. Break All YOUR Old Records).

Focus on building a good habit for 66 days and build automaticity.

The New Year is everyone's birthday.

Anyone that commits to at least 1% growth every week day (excluding weekends) will still be more than 100% grown by the end of the year.

Examples of 1% growth
- 23mins of an audiobook (loads of them on YouTube).
- Go for edutainment; not entertainment. Things "enter" during entertainment. The eyes and ears are gates. Thoughts are things.
- A page of a good book. Something a billionaire would read.
- 10 pushups or some form of exercise. Some people aim for 10,000 steps daily.
- A fruit or more water intake.
- A word a day (dictionary.com or other online dictionaries)
etc

PARABLE OF THE WEEKS
Five days they work, then rest for two days,
Weekends are soon gone, and they're back to weekdays.
The ones intentional about their five and two,
Look back in fulfilment when it's fifty two.

Tip:
Assign one day of the week to review each area. A simple one minute check-in on each area works well.

E.g.
Every time I brush my teeth in the morning (hopefully everyone does 😂) I'll ask myself:

"What do I need to do to ensure my (area of the day) goal is achieved?"

SAMPLE PLAN FOR A WEEK

Sunday: Faith (Spiritual)
Monday: Finance (Financial)
Tuesday: Field (Career/Business)
Wednesday: Faculty (Intellectual)
Thursday: Fitness (Body/Health)
Friday: Family
Saturday: Friends (Social)

Even constant dripping water can cut through stone.

By itself, a drop of water may not do much. But when consistent and cumulated? There's no telling.

Please stick to that/those good habit/habits. The outcome will look nothing like one single occurrence but more like a multiple of the recurrence combined.

13 Dear friends, you must never become tired of doing right.
2nd Thessalonians 3:13 (CEV)

TIP:
If you want to develop more than one skill, pick one and give yourself 6months or a year to grow in that one area. Then go to the next.

If you chase two rabbits, you'll catch none.

Money is not your certificate from college, your MBA will not make money for you. We need education, but in the 21st century what we will need most are skills, talents, critical thinking, collaboration, and creative skills.

Your money lies within you; your habits, talents, skills, attitudes, passion, hobbies, problem-solving character, providing solutions, meeting people's needs, thinking patterns, mindsets, beliefs, etc.

It's not your fault if you are born poor but it is your fault if you die poor. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. - Albert Einstein

I've met some brilliant business people in my time, but some of them will never be billionaires because they never act on those brilliant ideas.
- Donald Trump

To successfully make money, one must learn to control one's thirst to spend money especially without a plan. Business requires discipline to succeed in it.

The view you adopt of yourself profoundly affects the way you lead your life.

If you believe that you need to work very hard to make ends meet, your thoughts will be structured by that belief and you will act on it. People with such mindsets are desperate for jobs and usually settle for any job that puts food on the table.

CHAPTER SIX | THE SECRET OF MONEY AND ATTRACTING MONEY | PETER OSALOR

11 Tips to Attract Money, Prosperity and Success .

1. Share What You Have:
Share with people what you already have even if you have very little. This affirms to your mind that you have so much wealth that you can even share.

2. Free Yourself From Debt:
Debt enslaves you to the person or institution you owe and locks you into the cycle of lack and helplessness.

3. Be Aware Of What You Say - Your Words:
Only talk about your finances if you have something positive to say about it.

5. Health Before Wealth:
Health is our greatest wealth - Ralph Waldo Emerson

The healthier you are, the more confident and empowered you become and this attracts wealth to you.

7. Guard Your Thoughts:
Don't accept lack statements from the people you know. When someone says something like that, mentally reject their statement and instead affirm something positive.

11. Be affluent & prosperous in all ways:
Replace cheap stuff with wealth-affirming items in your home. Everything in your surroundings affirms whether you are wealthy or poor so make sure that at least your home is the symbol of abundance rather than lack.

+ We have been given the dignity of choice. Life is a choice.

+ We are architects partaking in the making of our destiny. We are the artist and

+ Success is an inner concept. You bring it to every thing you do.

Omitting God is like trying to spell in English without the English alphabets. (Just observed the Alpha in that too).

Know anyone in their 20s (even if it's in their mind 🤓) that needs this?

1/27/23, 9:05 AM

I just love how the start of each year brings a reset and a fresh opportunity to be and do everything God wants for you.

Do you feel stuck in life even though you’ve worked so hard for change?

Maybe each new year you set goals, but a few months in and you’re right back to your same old habits. Maybe this has happened for so long that you don’t even get excited about the possibilities of each new year anymore.

It’s especially frustrating when you’ve really tried and still don’t see any progress... all while your friends seem to be sailing by and on track to reach their goals.

Well, I have the best news for you. What I am about to tell you will not only speed up the process, but it will renew your mind in the process.

Are you ready?

START TALKING TO YOURSELF.

No, seriously. If you want to accomplish your goals faster, have a better self-image, and stay focused on your vision, you HAVE to start talking to yourself.

Here is what I mean by that.

→ Successful people take a proactive approach to their dreams. They don’t wait to see what happens with their lives. They prophesy their future.

→ Unsuccessful people speak of things the way they are as if they will always be that way. The truth is, as long as you continue to declare negative statements over your life, that’s exactly what you will continue to experience.

Get this down in your spirit today:

YOU CAN’T LIVE A LIFE OF VICTORY BY SPEAKING WORDS OF DEFEAT.

If you want a new life (a new marriage, new doors of opportunity, new breakthroughs), you’re going to have to speak some new words.

In 1 Samuel 17, we can read the story of David facing Goliath. Take note of how David first spoke his desired result and expectations before he ran out to meet his giant. David prophesied his victory first and then walked it out.

There are some giants in your life that you will never conquer until you first open up your mouth and speak God’s Word by faith.

Just like David, you’ve got to prophesy your future and your victories.

In 2007, I made a list of declarations to start speaking over myself. It seemed foolish because most (if not all) of these positive statements were the opposite of what I was experiencing at the time. They were simply written and spoken by faith. Some of the declarations included:

“I am proactive.”
“I am in the best shape of my life.”
“I am bold and courageous.”
“I am a voice impacting France for Jesus.”
“I am confident to minister on television.”
“I am confident to minister to thousands of people.”
“I speak at the largest conferences in the world.”

When I began these faith declarations, I had never ministered in France, and the largest crowd I had spoken to was probably about 300 people.

However, each morning I would go in my guest bedroom, grab my notebook, and speak them out loud.

Within five years of doing this, I had ministered at the largest evangelical church in the nation of France, spoke to 15,000 people at one conference, and started ministering on television.

God has so many great things in store for you, but if you really want to know where your life is headed, listen to the words coming out of your mouth.

In Isaiah 46:10, we are told that God "declares the end from the beginning.” That's exactly what you're doing when you declare your dreams before they happen.

Remember — use your words to achieve your big goals this year.

Cheering you on,

Terri Savelle
